JPL, a wholly -owned subsidiary of Johor Port Berhad, was established in May 1997 with the following main goals:
- to provide non-traditional port services involving downstream and upstream activities providing importers and exporters seamless total logistics packages.
- to establish cost effective and efficient logistics network nationally and regionally, with the aim to support the utilization of Malaysian ports.
- to assist in the promotion of Malaysian ports as the regional distribution hub through playing a leading role in the transportation chain by providing total logistics solutions and services.
To date, we have established ourselves as a provider of logistics solutions ranging from simple haulage requests to high-value ship-to-ship transfer operations to complex and sophisticated supply chain management. We now have multiple branches across our home nation and are gradually opening more and more new branches throughout the Asian region. We utilize and expand Malaysia’s trade links to provide our customers throughout the region as well as globally the means to streamline their logistics activities, thus delivering value directly to their business. Towards these ends we have already established branches in Singapore,Thailand (Bangkok) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) in addition to our multiple branches.
